Alpine Industry Conference

Vibe Marysville, 7-8 May 2020

The ARCC will be hosting an industry conference at The Vibe in Marysville over Thursday 7 and Friday 8 May 2020 for all those who have a keen interest in the alpine industry. The theme for the conference is ‘Exploring Mountain Tourism’.

The Conference brings together government and partner agencies, researchers, on and off mountain businesses, local government, tourism bodies and the private sector to provide participants with valuable and relevant information to assist with planning and strategic decision-making.

The conference will feature 3 facilitated panel sessions that will broach major issues facing the Victorian alpine industry including visitor needs, travel research, tourism opportunities and mountain operations in Victoria.

Session 1: ‘Accommodation and Visitor Trends’

Session 2: ‘Biodiversity & Attraction of the Alpine Natural Landscape’

Session 3: ‘Mountain Operations and Visitor Experience’
