 Climate
change is a global issue that poses challenges for us all.
Those who enjoy snow sports are at the front line and our
Alpine environments are very sensitive to change. But the
good news is there is some thing we can all do something about
it.
Keep
Winter Cool is a new climate change awareness initiative that
encourages skiers, snowboarders and snow visitors - as well
as Alpine area managers and the snow industry - to cut their
production of the greenhouse gas emissions that cause global
warming.
The Keep
Winter Cool initiative has been developed by the ARCC with
its founding partners, the Alpine Ski Areas Association and
the Australian Alps Liaison Committee, and more recently,
with the NSW National Parks and Wildife Service.
